support for razer naga or other devices?

firstly, is there support for razer naga?  that may sound like a stupid question, but i haven't gotten one before and after playing todays stress test and doing just pvp, i found that clicking the numbers a bit difficult.  i feel like the multiple buttons would be great.  secondly, what do you, whomever comments, find to be the best multi button mouse, or gamepad, setup?

i'd suggest the g700 mouse by logitech has all the buttons you need and every one is completely programmable.. I always found the naga uncomfortable and found myself hitting the wrong buttons to often or just didn't have a use for so many. Also the g13 gamepad works well in conjuction with the g700

I angered the clerk in a clothing shop today. She asked me what size I was and I said actual, because I am not to scale. I like vending machines 'cause snacks are better when they fall. If I buy a candy bar at a store, oftentimes, I will drop it... so that it achieves its maximum flavor potential. --Mitch Hedberg

ive looked at the g13.  are both of those useable for gw2?  i'd assume that as long as your computer is registering the buttons you can assign them to keys in the options menu, right?

I have a naga, and i really havent used it for gw2.  however the way the buttons are the 1-12 can be uses as the num pad or the numbers on top of your keyboard, so technically every game supports it as it can be used as a replacment for the top numbers.  In games that i did use it i usually keybound skills to the num pad and used it that way.   but you can use the 6-10 with your thumb and 1-5 with your left hand if your more comfortable that way

yea both work great with guild wars 2:) both come with software to customize the keys and buttons to whatever you want them to be

Yes it  does supports the Razer Naga I've been using mine since the first BWE and to be honest it's works great with this game. It just takes getting use to the side keys but after a few days you'll get the hang of it.

i'm using naga hex atm. works pretty well. i think regular naga is too many buttons. i kinda wanna get logitech g700 for this game tho.

I use the g700, I bought it for GW2 and I'm really glad I did. Once I got used to it, it's working out great.

I just set the buttons as keystrokes: numpad 1-8.. and set those as the secondary keys for what I wanted them for. Done.

I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.

mice are hard to judge since everyones hand and grips are differn't I'd maybe go to a local best buy or frys if you have one and usually they have display of mice so you can get a feel for some of them. I have bought 3 naga's in my lifetime and everyone I had issues with long play sessions and hand strain. But have had this g700 for almost a year now and not a single issue

The Naga doesn't really need support by a game, it is just macroing specific keyboard keys to the mouse buttons so if the game supports a keyboard it supports the naga. I've used it for GW2 and it works really well.

Razer specializes in aesthetics. They lack in quality and functionaility. If you wanted a new mouse that's good with mmos you should have got the Logitech G600. It has a better laser engine that provides more DPI, and it's buttons have a very nice feel. Also, a Logitech mouse will last you a decade if you really want it to.

Get a G700 if you don't need all of those keys. It's superior in every way if you don't need that many keys.

If you do need that many keys get a G600. It's superior in every way.

Although if you have very small hands the Naga might be better for you.

    EDIT:

I'm saying this as someone who owned a Naga for a year and sold it to get a G700. I currently own two G700 and one G600.

The Naga does not need support, because all it can do is emulet the  1 to 0 keys or the numeric keys, (there is a hardware switch on the mouse and there is no extra driver needed.

Naga will allways work with any game.

Best MMO experiences : EQ(PvE), DAoC(PvP), WoW(total package) LOTRO (worldfeel) GW2 (Artstyle and animations and worlddesign) SWTOR (Story immersion) TSW (story) ESO (character advancement)

I use the G13 and Razor Naga and I love it. Does take some getting used to but once you do its very smooth and makes things quick.  Ill probably never play a game without them again ;p

my firend is a naga freak but yea he has bought 3 in the last 3 years due to them breaking for various reasons.. I've always had great luck with logitech mice as far as longevity and comfort.
