I enjoy my role-playing but I prefer to play as a solo player, instead of in a guild/corporation etc.
What games do you think are best for individuals ?

Well, world of Warcraft is often called a singler player game for a reason. By far its the most solo friendly.
Another good solo game is Anarchy online if you like scifi roleplay, the game has a lot of things in first aid that you can use that essentially make anyone their own healer.
Half-Life 2
Well if you like the newer stuff, I am gonna say WoW..it is definitally the best solo oriented mmo out currently.
If you like the old school a bit, Ultima Online. They have a free 15 day trail available throuh Fileplanet right now, I just finished mine up..Still a great game..little too much has changed for my taste on the pay servers to pay that much..but its still a good game.
UO is still the most solo friendly game on the market even though its getting abit aged now.

No question, World of Warcraft.
Despite the name, the upcoming Guild Wars is actually very solo friendly as well (not really a MMORPG though).
I disagree.

World of Warcraft, but you gotta play the right class or else it's long.
I sticked with my hunter to solo simply cause it's the easiest class to solo with.
You send your pet, when it gets weak, you heal it with Mend Pet ability, and during all this time you, the hunter, is at range distance firing arrows non-stop at the enemie.
Oh and what happens if the mob decides to attack you? Well, first you can use Disengage which forces you out of combat and the mob attacks your creature again. And if you're attacked by more than 2 creatures, you can use Feign Death makes you pretend you died, all mobs go back to attack your pet, you can just get back up and resume firing arrows at the creatures.
So easy!!!
People said Paladins are "easier", which is kinda true, but it's longer. Ever since their nerf, oops I mean Crusader "bug fix", they deal much less damage. Okay yes, you will NEVER die cause you can wear Plate at Level 40, have so many shields and can heal, but you still deal less damage, and you'll be drinking to regen your Mana more often than a Hunter that can just heal every once in awhile, and deal major damage with your hunter.

Lolol, I love it. Not one single person could admit how soloabe UO is in comparsion to any other game out there. Hell, the game didn't even have a party system the first 3 years in!

Hmm I said new vs old..I basically stated uo and wow were solo games.
I think it is well known I dont like wow, I do like uo..as for solo in uo..well lets say I played UO before the group system, and have never ever grouped in that game. you do not have to group in either game honestly.
i think that a warrior is by far the easiest charachter to solo with, they are the strongest. but thats just my opinion
Goddam mad dog gnaws wang! Goddam mad dog!
No question, World of warcraft is the most solo friendly, but that doesn't mean there isn't any guild/group/raid content either.
It has both and can satisfy both, but soloers are not dependent on groups for experience or tradeskills, just some higher end content which you don't have to participate in if you don't want to.
