Question about grouping and questing at the same time. GW2

2 buddies of mine and myself plan on playing GW2 together righ tfrom the start, and i my question is exactly what the post states, can we be grouped for quests and still do fine xp wise? i know thats not the only thing we can do and such or even if you dont want to answer it a link will suffice... just couldnt find it on their website.

don't think you split xp at all. like if you all are targeting the same mob, you all get the same xp and can all get drops off it. no tagging it first kind of deal like most games.

There is no xp penalty for grouping, killstealing/helping with kills, or anything of the sort. In fact, you don't even need to be in a group with your friends, you'd still get full xp and loot when you help anybody around kill mobs, likewise they get full xp and loot as well. In fact, it's very difficult to cause another person to get less xp or loot in this game. =P
