Still cant decide on which server to play

Well with 1 week to go, i still cant decide on which server i want to play on.

During the beta weekends/stress tests i have been playing on Maguuma and overall its a fairly nice server with some friendly people and were average in doing WvWvW. My thing is when it comes to selecting a server, i want a server that has a good amount of players but isnt to much to where its constant mayhem all the time, also a server that is pretty good in WvWvW.

So any advice on which of these servers to select?

If I'm not mistaken, Jade Quarry is one of the most WvW centered servers atm.

Pick that, then you can guest until you find the right one for PvE

Ok so from what you said and from the poll thus far, Jade Quarry will be a good server to do WvW on but, my next question is how will it be for PvE? While i love doing WvW i also want to progress real far in the story first (Only made it to lvl 17 on BW1), and i want to pick it up where i left off.

WvWvW is the only thing that really matters in terms of server selection based on what we know right now.

You can join guilds cross-server and you can guest on other servers for everything but WvWvW, so it seems like it makes the most sense to pick a server based on that, and just guest over to another server for PvE goodness.

Unless, of course you aren't interested in WvWvW, that is.

Print the server list. Stick it to the wall. Pick a dart. Throw it. Repeate if you dont hit the list. Win.

Thought I heard that there would be free server transfers for the first couple weeks post release. So I guess it really doesn't matter which server you choose since it will be a free for all. 

 

Hopefully there's some type of limit of the amount of free transfers available otherwise people will jump to whichever server is winning in WvW.

Its confirmed that there will be transfers for a period after launch.

Well since there appears there will be free server transfers for a few weeks after the game is released this will make the whole decision process a little easier
