Starter guide?

Is there any sort of starter guild around yet? I mean just basic advice would be good, how to start moving forward, rather than harvesting branches all day.

http://salemwiki.info/index.php/Main_Page - I usually have 4 or 5 tabs of my browser going with different sections of the wiki while I'm playing Salem.  There is so much to know that is left unsaid in-game.
