    I do not see what the problem is .Most MMORPGs that are released don't have the end game done to completion. Probably they will continue to improve it like every other game. What's so astonishing about that ?

    Even if it does end up like diablo as far as end game is concerned, it won't be as big a disaster for a few reasons. Firstly, it's o MMO and it'll be a while before anyone reaches that content. Secondly there's pvp. Thirdly, it's an MMO. People will have things to do while they wait for endgame cause it's an MMO and all. Also it wasn't in development for over a damn decade  like d3

    Just want to jump on this before it gets out of hand. Pretty much nothing in this post is factually correct, I'm not sure where this information came from but flat out: it's misinformed at best and a lot of it totally false.

    We'll absolutely have a GM team that helps support the game at live, the rest of it is partially incorrect information or just plain wrong. You'll start seeing information about our post-ship plans shortly (as early as today on some press sites) but it'll come from developers specifically.

    If in 1982 we played with the current mentality, we would have burned down all the pac man games since the red ghost was clearly OP. Instead we just got better at the game.

    Not what that means. Bit more research there before jumping to conclusions would be awesome. That stuff written under what Colin said does NOT mean it's what Colin said, they're two separate areas of the same post. If you follow the quoted link, that information came from a fan, NOT official information. Anet did not call it endgame, Anet has only ever said what you've heard from "fanboys", endgame starts from the beginning.

    Apparently you never played SWG or UO?

    Both games widely considered to not have an "end-game" and thusly "the endgame started at level 1" (even though yes both games had no levels, you get the point lol.)

    Actually Colin replied fixing the statementn to friday, it appears he was trolling, MODS need to update the title and OP and eventually lock this thread, but knowing the moderation in these forums that could take a while if it happens at all.
