So this got released a little while back and I was wondering what you guys thought about it? No doubt this will trickle it's way down to the lower power supplies as well like the original AX series (Although the AX1200 was made by a different OEM than the rest.)

I've got the standard AX1200 and it has been fantastic but after seeing the reviews for the new digital power supply complete with the software I can't help but look forward to seeing more stuff like this on the market.
Do you guys think it is likely to influence the other vendors into putting similar technology and software into their power supplies or is the AX series going to remain a niche product for those who want nothing but the best?

From the Jonny Guru review, it looks like it might well displace the Seasonic Platinum as the best power supply on the market. The down side is the $350 price tag. Can they do half of the wattage with half of the price tag? They'll need to in order for it to trickle down the lineup.
This is a successor to Corsair's AX1200i, which was also made by Flextronics. The Corsair AX650, AX750, and AX850 are totally different, as they're rebranded Seasonic X-series power supplies.
Still, I'd want to see a second opinion before declaring it the new best power supply on the market, not just the Jonny Guru review. (Nothing against Jonny Guru; I'd want to see a second opinion no matter whose was the first.) The Guru3D review is basically worthless, as it looks like they could only pull about 660 W from it or so. If it would have spontaneously combusted upon pulling 700 W from it, that would make it a piece of junk (considering that it's rated at 1200 W), but Guru3D wouldn't have discovered that.
