So I got into the beta and....
Have had a lot of fun with it so far. Though the game still needs to be fleshed out with quest etc. I really like where they are going with it. To me the battle frames remind me a bit of apleseed style japanime mecha and are pretty deep in cusomization with crafting and many ways to build out and customize to ones liking. The game plays really good and is a great blend of fps and rpg. I look forward to the official release and to see where they take it. Crafting is great in this game, you basically craft everything from parts for your battleframe to thumpers for mining and glide pads for flying. The crafting is extra cool when it comes to parts for your battle frames. Trying to figure out which materials will make the best parts as well as keep the weight down so you dont outweigh your builds limits is deep and rewarding. Even with the little pve in place I am really liking the game.
