I angered the clerk in a clothing shop today. She asked me what size I was and I said actual, because I am not to scale. I like vending machines 'cause snacks are better when they fall. If I buy a candy bar at a store, oftentimes, I will drop it... so that it achieves its maximum flavor potential. --Mitch Hedberg
Argh.. can't decide between Sanctum of Rall (my beta server) and Tarnished Coast. Both looking good. I will miss being able to pick both.
I admit I'm more excited about this than i probably should be.
I hope to see more folks from mmorpg.com playing on Sanctum of Rall, just for the sentimental reason of paying tribute to the man who's name the server was created for. If you haven't read the story, or heard of it, you can read about it here. Although I'm a minor member of the guild Gaiscioch, I'd like to extend an invitation to pay tribute to Oldroar. Details
I am also very impressed with ArenaNet, and how they have followed the story, and created such a wonderful gesture by creating the server in his name. /salute
Thank you for linking the full story, Amjoco. I had heard brief details of the names origin before but have since wanted to learn more about the man behind it. Oldroar sounds like someone I would have been lucky to call guildmate and friend, and ANets response is very touching. As does the gesture of players choosing to play on SoR in his memory.
Waiting for: A skill-based MMO with Freedom and Consequence. Woe to thee, the pierce-ed.

Most people on mmorpg I think are rolling on Jade Quarry, if I'm not mistaken.
According to this: http://www.mmorpg.com/discussion2.cfm/thread/360687/Official-MMORPGcom-GW2-Guild-Server-Poll.html
that's just the mmorpg.com guild. i was going to join up and go to jq but it looks like it will be pretty heavily populated.
