Old Ironforge

in World of Warcraft

Maybe i didnt state this right. I played the game. But i have never seen this secret area. If you dont feel like watching video. The guy in ghost form, walks through this door or wall and goes under ground through a tunnel and then when he gets out of the tunnel, the screen says "Old Ironforge" like it usually says when you enter new places. Just wondering has anyone else explored it in these forums.

    Everyone is in IF on the Alliance side. Its the center of trade and communication. Lots of spam but there is also THE Alliance auction house and a bank as well as tons of other shops. Its pretty good but with bad connection your gonna get some lag.

    I'm pretty sure he isn't talking about the normal Ironforge. Maybe there is a section of Ironforge that is considered "old Ironforge" or a complete different city?

    No i know this game, played beta phase 2. But if you watch video, the dead guy in ghost form, walks right through this wall in this one area of ironforge, where the lava and stuff is. I think its the room where the ruler of iron forge is. But you have to be in ghost form, and when you walk through wall shows a new zone, its called "Old Ironforge" right under the city, its like a secret zone and looks interesting, and just wondering if some people could explore it and tell me about it.

    It was Ironforge in very early beta/alpha(?). Then they changed it and now it's just an unused zone.Nothing to do there beside exploring. Maybe someday they'll reuse it for something. Right now it doesn't have any points of interest or lore attached to it.

    I went to finish a quest with the king of Ironforge once and the doors blocking the way weren't there (probably because of the lag) so I went in. There were no NPCs in there, only lava and some walkways.

    I found this and Loved going to old IF I now have guild meetings down there it is the best place to have them

    im perfectly fine with the IF that is there now. its big as hell with EVERYTHING.

    Yeah I saw the place, my friend showed it to me last month.

    Jump in the lava, respawn in Dun Morough, walk all the way back to Ironforge as a spirit, head to the Dwarf King's room, walk through the big door to your left.  There's Old Ironforge for yeah!

    Another one of Blizzard's unfinished areas!  Can't wait to see what they have planned for that place!  I mean what's the huge platform on the top of that tower?
