hey so in gw1 you picked a main class and you had a sub class, is this the same in gw2? i want to make a ranger but i just seen some of the heavy armor in the game and it looks awesome. im picking ranger for the wolf pet only really to roleplay so i was wondering is the class system the same as gw1 or not? basically wondering if a warrior would be able to have a wolf pet, thanks in advance

    no multiclassing in GW2

All of my posts are either intelligent, thought provoking, funny, satirical, sarcastic or intentionally disrespectful. Take your pick.

I get banned in the forums for games I love, so lets see if I do better in the forums for games I hate.

I enjoy the serenity of not caring what your opinion is.

I don't hate much, but I hate Apple© with a passion. If Steve Jobs was alive, I would punch him in the face.

Will be single class only, probably my biggest letdown of gw2. Although each class is really well done.

No, there's no multiclass for GW2, only the class you pick at character creation.

What can men do against such reckless hate?

One of the great things about GW2 is that you won't just be a typical ranger. You can go in and melee to your hearts content. I had a ranger in one of the BWEs that I simply had to much fun with using Great Sword lol.

Multi classing only complicated things and left far too many holes to create the "super builds" Those builds that were either unstoppable, or just very powerful. If it's just one class you have to balance its fine, but then throw in another classes attributes combined with the already existing ones and its all hell.

The class, combat, and skill system is completely different from GW1.

No multiclasses (main profession / sub profession).

If you choose a ranger, you are just a ranger, but you can spec into a number of different playstyles as a ranger (melee, ranged, conditions, big crits, traps, beastmastery, spirits, etc.)
