every time i do there seems to be a patch that i need to download
I've been occasionally checking for updates and I always click login after I check. I know I shouldn't, but I do anyway.
Edit: Ahh, there is an update now.
I angered the clerk in a clothing shop today. She asked me what size I was and I said actual, because I am not to scale. I like vending machines 'cause snacks are better when they fall. If I buy a candy bar at a store, oftentimes, I will drop it... so that it achieves its maximum flavor potential. --Mitch Hedberg

1. For god's sake mmo gamers, enough with the analogies. They're unnecessary and your comparisons are terrible, dissimilar, and illogical.
2. To posters feeling the need to state how f2p really isn't f2p: Players understand the concept. You aren't privy to some secret the rest are missing. You're embarrassing yourself.

I keep going to the GW2 page with my mouse pointer hovering over the "buy now" button. I was so burned on D3 I'm scared to take the plunge with GW2.

The answer will probably be 'yes' in an couple more hours, though. I can only imagine how expensive the HoM items are today, lol. Glad I finished most of that stuff before everything got ridiculously overpriced.

yes. because it can always be a AAA mmo in your back pocket once you have it. doesnt have to be your fave. but having it will tide you over dry spells and burnout from other games.
For me, just the 3 BWE weekends I played in were worth it.
At this point I feel like I got my money's worth and the rest is just icing on the cake.
For you....only you can say. Follow Aerowyn's advice (above) and make a decision.
