Title says it all ;)

Really, Guild Wars 2 is not the Messiah of mmorpgs BUT it's the vivid proof that if you want to innovate (at least a bit) an entire genre and putting in at the same time beautiful artwork you can do it ! (no I am no fanboy...)

I won't go further but the only thing I can say to all big big companies:

SHAME ON YOU !

You had your opportunity...you are a waste of human resources and that's it. If you pretend monthly fees for your game then you have to EARN it. Not just throwing a bone or 2 to your "beloved" customers. And even if you had that BIG BIG gamelore license you have wasted it (I won't tell names, there are many games out there which had so huge potential).

And last but not least, YOU big greedy mega company, you can't base your subscription only on the fact that millions of ppl have already 5-8 fully TIER xxxx chars and won't give up on them (considered that there is a lot of grind to get that result).

You have given up on your customers, you have given up on innovation and, first of all,

YOU have given up on yourselves...

If NCsoft (here as publisher) won't screw it up then I guess we have finally a mmo which sets some new standards and strangely no monthly fees involved ( lol I would have payed every f...g month just to see customers have to choose between the Old and this one. Sadly Anet, this way, let live the old companies and so they sadly can coexist with GW2 and they can go on and deliver old shit as usual considering that customers buy GW2 and continue to pay monthly "protection fees" for fast-food mmos...)

Again, GW2 is no way the Messiah of mmo (yes it has bugs and some probs like every new mmo) BUT it's an honest result of serious videogame making (which is not making f...g fast-food product with no life & soul included).

I feel really bad for those companies.... really.

But do they really have to adapt to this kinda new standard bar or do they continue just to deliver shit over and over again ? In the era of capitalism and ppl's blindness I guess the 2nd option...

/my 2 cents

(let the flame wars begin, I don't care, I had even asked for a refund 2 months ago and ended up buying it again, sooo...)
