So any ETA on Trade Post?

How do you unlock your storage space TODAY? Exactly, only by BUYING GEMS for real money.
If the trading post and the gem trade wouldn't have been down, no one would buy gems for those unlocks.

 

 

 

You do realize that after the AH is up the price of gems will skyrocket pretty fast, don't you? Unless this would be the first game where in-game currency is actually hard to come by.

ANET is likely to insitute a ceeling on the amount you can sell gems for to both combat gold famers (it being cheaper to buy it directly from them) and to help curb inflation.
