    OP, did your skill rotation not work well enough? Or maybe you need a dps meter? I know, the others hacked when they facerolled you.

    I lost $60 on a game that I thought would be worth a damn.  If being disturbed means being angry,

    then  I am Ultra Disturbed.  You can't tell me none of you have bought a game only to discover it was total

    Oddly enough.. I agree with him and while borderline controversial He has a point. No one really has to state a fact of why a game is bad, its an opinion. I too believe the game will die off rather fast. I mean the game went from full servers at prime hours to just medium/high in just 2 days.

    Spin it how ya want, jump into a WvWvW and its nothing but people venting their frustrations on how they thought the game was going to be something more than a vanilla version of AV.

    Maybe because we went from a weekend to a weekday in just  2 days. Op can have his opinion, I just hate when people say shit in a way that comes across as trolling, then cry victim when they are called out and if you call him on his BS you are "a fanboy eating him alive". The drama queens are ramapant on this site I swear. Not to mention every comment made by the OP after his first post has verrified his attitude. And his poll choices..... really..... and he wants to claim he is just stating an opinion......  If you creat a thread and start it the way he did don't play the victim if you get flak for it. That is all. This is no spin how I want it statement. It is a blanket statement for every troll post that has sprung up since launch. There is a difference between ctiticism and trolling so nothing to see here.

    Where as I agree in that the game got overhyped drastically by people..

     

    I dont mind the WvWvW pvp other than the character stories its the only decent part of the game.. yes of course its a Zerg fest but what do you expect to happen? People are always gonig to group togeather to try and win its natural..at least the Zergs are usually around the same size :) and who knows after a few weeks maybe things will get a bit more organised :)..

     

    Tho i agree about the aoe/magic super fest infact at time it gets so bad all you can see is random particle effects on your screen, i guess its lucky its a tab target game otherwise you would have no idea where to attack lol.

    Yeah, almost every single MMO post WoW.  The only exceptions were the F2P's because I disliked them but I didn't spend $60. I have already gotten more entertainment out of GW2 with the combined BWE's and 3 days of playing than I did out of every single MMO released after WoW. I don't feel the need to go start troll polls on each section though.

    1. For god's sake mmo gamers, enough with the analogies. They're unnecessary and your comparisons are terrible, dissimilar, and illogical.

    2. To posters feeling the need to state how f2p really isn't f2p: Players understand the concept. You aren't privy to some secret the rest are missing. You're embarrassing yourself.

    I don't know if the OP is a troll. I do know that there will be players who will get pissed off in this game. Because they are not used having to move all the time while being aware of surroundings and to use their reaction skills for dodging. This is not something you learn overnight. So maybe the OP is one of them.

    For gamers like me who used to play fps games this comes a lot more natural. A friend of mine has also really trouble adjusting to this. He is now learning to move with wasd keys for the first time in his life lol.

    I see so many AOE spamming players that aggro everything in the vicinity next to the single mob they are trying to kill, while standing toe to toe with mobs of course. It looks hilarious, but at the same time I'm glad that I'm not fighting a boss with those.

    No people don't have jobs, family or RL they HAVE to play even during the week at ALL TIMES! lol the game isn't failing after 2 days i cant believe how much ppl WANT the game to fail instead of just moving on.

    look, if $60 is a concern (and sure, why not, it's a dinner out) then why do you even purchase a game without trying it out? This one is a no brainer. and if that never occurred to you then lesson learned I suppose.

    Additionally, seeing your criticims I have to say that the game doesn't feel "old" at all. Some of it positive to my thinking and some of it negative. But there is nothing "old"  feeling about this game.

    I think the issue some people have is that you go on a rant but with nothing to back it up. Perhaps giving examples instead of ranting is a better way to get your point across.

    I'll give you an example of what I think feels old. 

    When you talk to a questgiver, the UI folds into an animation of

    NPC's interacting with each other in a way that is similiar to a Circa 1990's super

    Nintendo game.

     

    It was kinda nostalgic, like Ken telling Ryu how bad he is about to kick his ass.
