    What? No .5s? Alas I cannot make a selection since I would give this game an 8.5

    Actually not really...way too early yet for me to rate the game

    1. For god's sake mmo gamers, enough with the analogies. They're unnecessary and your comparisons are terrible, dissimilar, and illogical.

    2. To posters feeling the need to state how f2p really isn't f2p: Players understand the concept. You aren't privy to some secret the rest are missing. You're embarrassing yourself.

    3. Yes, Cpt. Obvious, we're not industry experts. Now run along and let the big people use the forums for their purpose.

    Lol, even if you were serious I wouldn't be able to do that because you can only give ten options in the pole, just so other people don't comment on this.

    My only problem with it is that its too hard to find mats for the Insignas without farming a ton thats why i rated it a 9

    Game will be here to stay, cant say this enough, but iam hooked, alrady knew it in the beta's and now when its out and played for a few days iam 100% sure this game will be my new home for years to come.

    Now if only the damn EU servers went online :D !!! damn Americans just sabotaging the EU servers ^^ !!!!!!


    Had 100% map completion in Quensdale, but i want to see that fracking Shadow Behemoth FFS !!!!!!!
    The Secrets of the Swamp is bugged i think cant fire up the final event to let him spawn, maybe after the reset and patch ? :) !!!

    Crafting = 10/10
    PvE = 10/10
    PvP = 10/10
    Graphics 10/10
    Music 10/10
    Classes 10/10

    Overal 10/10


    Now feed those hamsters and let us poor Europeans play :P !!!

    Let me guess, there will be lots of 10's and 1's..     people really need to learn to do away with their pre-concieved ideas and rate the game as if they never expressed an opinion on it before.  Many people would rather deny reality than admit they were wrong to hate/like the game in the early stages.  This goes for fanboys and haters alike - and is certainly not said in relation to GW2 only.

    I gave it a 9 because for the most part it met my high expectations..

    I like the event system and the combat system so far. Also the WvW aspect is enjoyable when you go out with some guildies and annoy the enemy. The TP and all the log in issues it has had so far tho, make me give it a 7. When they fix that, it will raise to about 8.5.

    There are certain mobs which drop those mats reliably and there are large amounts of them in certain areas. IE go kill harpies in the human starter zone on the dam and you will get lots of weak blood in no time

    I agree, I was like really? At the one because this is a pretty good game and I don't see a reason to rate it a one, second of all, if you really hate this game so much why are you even here?

    It's a solid 9 for me, the best mmorpg for me since 2001.

    The tech issues have not really effected me yet, and the game has been fantastic beyond that!

    The user rating is now up! It's currently a holy crap high of 9.4! Well, inless it changed since I came here, anyways that is crazy high compared to TSW with an 8.4 or something and Rift with like a 7.7, what do you think about these ratings?

    I gave it a 9 based on the first 48 hours of play.

    Although this game is more polished that what has been released as a AAA game, currently they have severe issues with their authentication servers and it seems they follow the same fail approach like other companies of not communicating. Please note that an acknowledgement from them that they have an issue with authentication is not enough now, it might have been in 2002, but now they need to tell the players what the heck is going on :)

    Other than the above mentioned the game is aces!

    I gave it an 8, so far a few minor bug's i've come across but that's to be expected from a new game. What dropped the score for me though was the camera need's alot of work done to it. For example the skill point and vista challenge on the great wall in diessa highlands, your camera become's stuck in some part's making it very frustrating.
