It has begun.

Many of them seem like they haven't even really played it. I wonder if we're seeing another MW3 situation....

    Maybe people just dont share the same opinon as you, or the other people with blinders on, it was the same way with SWTOR as well raving reviews and scores and plenty of Biodrones that come raging with hardons at one that had legitimate complaints and concerns about the game, and looks like its repeating it self as well and please keep the GW2 threads in Guild Wars 2 forums, really tired of these spam posts.

    I like to consider those harsh views to be just as useful as those raving 10/10 reviews from players who are eating of their fanboy energy and blindly seeing the game as a holy graal while they are faulting with tons of issues that they are in such denial to consider. In that way, it pretty much helps cancel out all those useless 10/10 reviews of players who haven't even played the game, or more so, ignore what they have playing the game to see it being something that exists only in their minds. :)

    Easy on the commas. Save some for the rest of us. I'm sure the moderators will put this in the GW2 forums, if they feel it necessary. Also, what are my opinions, exactly? I don't believe I've told you whether or not I like the game.

    If you have actually been playnig the game, then read most of thoes comments its plain as day they really havent played at all are are just negative rating for whatever troll purpos they stand for.

    Have to agree. I'm sure there are plenty being as heavy handed and noncritical in the other direction. It will probably all ballance out. So is the way of the universe...

    Always been here, just now more people are going to realize the game is just another wow-park and its going to slowly drown out the fanboi deniers...just like with SWTOR ect

    Wait untill teh community hits the non-existant endgame fun...well they might sell endgame for $60 next expansion...either way thats going to be a riot.

     

    Anyway the overhype thremepark crowd is ALWAYS wrong.  Can name a whole bunch of games they trumpeted as the next big game...every single one of them flopped a month or two after launch.

    There are always different opinions, which is fine. But I have yet to see a substantial critique towards GW2 which is based on more than "I don't like it".

    people actually take metacritics seriously? I thought it was like Yahtzee and made for laughs and entertainment...but I guess some people take him seriously, too.

    The real funny part is that those getting bent out of shape are doing nothing but bump the negative reviews, yet these are the numbers: positive 309, negative 48. People need to learn to stop illuminating these negatives by arguing with them. THe overall user score is 8.4. "quit while you're ahead" comes to mind on this one.

    It's hard to take some of the comments serious anyway. First it's a video game, and second, its negative comments from computer gaming nerds. Ya, I said it!  If you have a problem with it, I'll hit you with my pocket protector!

    Finally we can find out the ratio of fanboys to haters! It's about 311 to 48 which is about 6 fanboys to 1 hater. Makes sense.

    If you cross them out along with all the people who want to give the game with a 10/10 and perfect launch, then you might get an honest opinion or two.

    95% of what you see in beta won't change by launch.

    It wouldn't be a proper GW2 discussion without that word in at least one page.  I think they need a new word. How about Redeemer. I think that word would fit it better anyway since the entire genre is suppose to be dying. Messiah sounds to biblical imho.

    I think the 94 metascore ignores all the launch issues and is inflated. Not that this surprising. Companies that do reviews just rubberstamp titles these days. They have keep their advertising revenue safe afterall.

    I'm all for criticism but some of the posts on MC are obvious trolls. Broken quests? Buggy gameplay? One guy says that no game is worth 10/10 then proceeds to give it a 2/10. Seriously? Those comments are either created by trolls, professional or not, or some extremely butthurt individuals or both.

    Exactly...I started a thread on this earlier and was told by several people that I was a fanboi, had an agenda, cared too much, didn't look at the other side etc. etc.

    I don't think most people got that folks giving GW 0-3 are actual, completely genuine, trolls.  There is no logical reason to give the game that low a score.  And sorry, if it's your "opinion" that the game deserves a 0-3, then you really don't know much about video games.

    Are you team Azeroth, team Tyria, or team Jacob?
