Can't Play, Crashes!!!

in Guild Wars 2

After playing 5-10min i crash  an it states a serouis error occured.

    There are two little patches a day or so ago. After those I was crashing left and right. At one point I was crashing while trying to load in my character. My solution eventually was to go to the character screen, then go to options and set the gfx to best performance. After that I was able to log in, then I slowly tweaked the settings back up.

    I have no idea what was going on... and no idea why that worked for me, but it did.
