I have not read everything on reddit, and perhaps this have been done longer than I realise.
I have seen two occations now when Arena Net have made it able to publically detest a ban. For language in chat/character names and now with exploiting.
This makes it possible to direct Joe and Jane 'exploiter' Dòche to post on reddit when they claimed to be oh so innocent but wtf banned. So when he posts that he only bought 1 weapong at that "karmashop" but got his account permanently banned and she got her account banned for 72 hours even when she never said a word in chat.
I mean the thread about someone that have not done anything can be closed and the OP can be directed to reddit if it was true...
Oh, but I wouldn't want to be named and shamed...
No, but you wont if you are telling the truth.
Someone fully aware of that they bougth 2134 items and though they was going to get away with it... they wont post. But if they still tries to claim they are telling the truth... where is the post on reddit?
And if someone actually have been mistreated and post... well then there is no shame to be had either. And they can prove their innocence and continue to sperg about how godawful gaming company they are. And people may point out that it got resolved for the better.
But I like this, it makes it possible to call out liers and trolls, perhaps shills aswell and get a better forum community. And hope other companys will follow their lead.
I'm so broke. I can't even pay attention.

What forum community?
Why do you ask?
The importance of naming a specific (one) forum community is not within the topic.
