GW2 is my perfect solo MMO

TigerAeroTigerAero Member Posts: 127

I prefer tanking (of the holy trinity.) I can pick groups and kick from the group all the time as I see fit. You not up to par? I kick you to the curb.

Which brings me to GW2 and it's "lack" of the holy trinity. I have done maybe 6 "beginner" quests and have done nothing but the area/zone activation quests and the various pvp.

I think this game is the culmination of a perfect solo MMO.

Its the least solo MMO I have ever played. I want to see your post when you encounter empty area and you get smashed and all DEs around you fail ;)

    Who said antisocial?

I said it's great for solo MMO playing.

Even when you are soloing you are not actually soloing anything. You are always in group by default. So when there are no players around you think of it as your party members far away from you. But you are still in group.

I am in human starting area and there are always players around me.

Exactly. That's why I was drawn to this game a bit. People around you doing their stuff and you doing yours. Both in the same world but not in a "party."

You think this is solo go play TOR.

Yes, like other themepark mmorpg, GW2 is mostly a solo oriented game, but, really, nothing comes close to SWTOR in terms of solo/single player.

BTW, what is thr problem in here OP? If you don't enjoy it, perfectly fine, but, don't blame the game for it.

There's plenty of differnet ways of getting Karma and the like. Also, always keep the end game or end gear in  mind for PVE and you realize what you have to waste your time on.

Yeah I always have random people stopping to help without me even asking.. I've rarely ever experienced that in an MMO before. Love it!

There is nothing wrong with solo playing. Sometimes you just want to chill and relax on your own, especially if you are an introvert :)
