    You typically can tell how a game is right off the bat within the first 2 hours. The 'better later on' statement should only be taken if you actually were undecided and can't really feel if you like it or not. If you weren't big on it right off, chances are your not going to morph into liking it later.

     

    Rift was a game I played and it was alright but I wasn't exactly overly excited for. It was just enough of a middle ground that knowing it had end game that I pressed on and ended up loving it.

     

    Guildwars 2 lacks that end game content and much of what it has is offered right off the bat. What you see is pretty much it when it comes to WvW and PvP. PvE isn't all that much different as you advance. Its one of those games that I honestly feel gives all its cards away at the begining, and if you don't like it in the first 2 hours of play, there is nothing to redeem it later on.
