To be honest, right now none. It's going to take me forever (if ever) to master the eight we have. This isn't your daddys mage/paladin/hunter after all.

i think you meant professions...
EDIT: I thought about this some more and maybe they can try adding something completly new (idea taken from original D&D) - something in the middle between melle and a hunter and something else - with a dragon - A Dragon Hunter.
Like melee with a Dragon helper - that grows in strength and grant special dragon powers to the "Dragon-Hunter"
Think Rift Beast-Master but with a Dragon - in GW2 world..
They can even add special weapons only they can use...
I would actually rather them introduce new races and cities.
But I guess I would want them to introduce the Ritualist from Guild Wars 1. I would say Assassin...but we already have the Thief. Kind of seems redudant a bit. The Ritualist however, that class was awesome. An Asura Ritualist would be amazing.

I would go with a class or two from Guild Wars. Since Guardian is so close to Paragon I would have to say: Ritualist or Dervish.
Dervish might actually work a lot better in GW2 than it did in GW.
We dont need casuals in our games!!! Errm... Well we DO need casuals to fund and populate our games - But the games should be all about "hardcore" because: We dont need casuals in our games!!! (repeat ad infinitum)
A dark knight or avenger type, which is basically a dark knight. I would also like to see some from of dragoon type warrior. Both would be awesome in my opinion.
It wouldn't surprise me if they added a healer type class for an expansion. After all, they did exist in GW1.
Considering they've specifically said they DON'T want healer classes, I would be shocked at this. There's enough healing specialization options in existing classes, we don't need a class that goes further.
I think a hand-to-hand class initially seems likely, but then, this also seems like a bizarre class for the game. What are the weapon options here?
I also think that some "classes" can be effectively represented simply by adding to the list of weapon options. Perhaps what should be primarily considered with a new class would be what sorts of abilities would they have and how they'd combine different features and mechanics that are different from the existing classes. In particular, each existing class has different boons and conditions it can easily apply, and varying levels of healing ability, condition-removing ability, and boon-removing ability. To say nothing of how it interacts with combos.
I believe there will be no new classes in expansions. They will improve the ones we have now, add new skills etc. They will focus on new content rather than new professions.

No new classes/profs so fast tbh. I'd be happy with new weapons, which is what I predict the first expansion to focus more on than actual new professions. At least 2h axe, spear/halberd polearms for land combat and fist weapons, mainly thinking of warrior here.
Also I'd like to see a DPS rifle on engineer, maybe shotgun since cant really have two different toolbars for one weapon type on the same prof. I like the rifle but it's kinda bad for DPS, pistol is better DPS but I dont like to use shield on off-hand and the second pistol is pretty much worthless. I almost feel forced to use kits on engineer, but since they are mostly bugged not benefitting from weapon runes and losing auto-attack on switch I ended up rolling a warrior...
Also I'd like to see at least SOME melee stuff on engineer besides the wrench. 1h axes, and or swords, and or maces wouldnt be so bad would it? If the answer is yes, then *drumroll* add a new kit steam-hammer. Similar to flamethrower/elixir-gun but with a steam-generator backpack and rubber-tubings connecting the generator to the 2h hammer style melee weapon.
If there has to be absolutely new class I'd go with the shapeshifter class mentioned before. A bit like engineer in sense that the shapes would work like kits, and they could be a bit similar with Norn shapeshifting but permanent and better coded, I ended up disliking the Norn forms since they are not nearly as fluid as human-form combat animations and gameplay.
Already bored of the game and needing something new to play? XD
Class wise I'd say people would probably want more of a melee mage (spell blade) type deal to play and on the caster end more of a 'healer/cleric' type, of course muc of it being just supportive healing and buffing but just something to resemble the over-all class style of a healer.

But i guess i am just a weird dreamer.....
Just my 2 cents...
Hrm... haven't even thought about Expacks yet... but... a monk class for sure, and maybe something like a SK type dark counterpart to the Guardian.
I haven't nearly finished exploring the ones I want to yet that are there though, so no rush lol

1- Some sort of transformation class, animal transformation. Shape Shifter
2- A mix between guardian and necromancer, in other words a dark paladin.
3- hand to hand fighter. call it Monk, shaolin warrior, martial artist, etc.
4- A spear user.
I would also like more weapon types
in before animal tamer.

Damn, you picked 3 of the 4 i was going to say. The only other one i would add to your first 3 would be a bard.
I want to play a space pig. Nobody else did it yet, so that's a plus.
