Since the Techtest days, the PS2 devs have stubbornly held onto their idea of limiting infantry spawns to deployed Galaxies ONLY.
Finally, they have listened to the playerbase and have decided to try a new approach. Now Sunderers will be the default infantry spawns, and Galaxies will be hot-drops only (but spawn deployment will still be possible if a Gal pilot spends a heap of certification points to unlock it).
Solidifying Spawning Logistics
This coming change will drastically effect the flow of combat in the game. PS2 is clearly in a true beta-phase, it's not a pre-launch demo by any means.

So basicly they changed it back to how Planetside 1 was. But instead of having the AMS they have the Sunderers.....
They should have never changed it in the first freaking place! But I guess atleast it shows they are listening to their beta testers...
Now if they would listen about other things like this extremly short TTK that we have been complaining about since Alpha..

You see, every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with their surrounding environment, but you humans do not. You spread to an area, and you multiply, and you multiply, until every natural resource is consumed. The only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern. Do you know what it is? A virus. Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet.-Mr.Smith
Now, if they will only bring back the base capping matrix from the first game. I actually never played PS1, but I hear there was a far more organized method to capping bases. I don't like how you can just go anywhere and capture a control point. SOME freedom is good, but right now combat is a disjointed mess.
EDIT: I should point out that I am LOVING the game. They have gotten the fundamentals right, they just need to focus on the meta-game now.
