Today, March 23, is the day of the March patch. If you don't know anything about it, this page has the details.
I think the servers are down to apply the patch as I type this.

The next patch should be early in May, when the expansion pack comes out.
A lot of good things happening to the game it seems. Hopefully Legions is successful, AC2 deservers a second chance.
I love the craft changes. I was asked a couple of times to craft stuff for people because they want to use lodestones.
Now if only I could find a hoard key...
I agree AC2 is finally becoming a very fine game. I'm glad I joined at this very moment, just in time to see what a patch means here. I must admit I joined only to share a game with my friends that I left behind in the Old Country ( ;-) ), and March's patch was a very big and nice surprise for me. So much new things in just a patch?? Wooow! With Legions coming out in May (I have finally preordered them thanks to Codemasters, the EU retailer) I can see that AC2 will soon evolve from a mere way of staying in touch with friends to full-time entertainment with friends thrown in as a bonus :-) And all that for mere 10EUR per month :-)

Yes, AC2 has changed a lot over the past couple of years. I just started playing it again, after having not touched it since beta.
It is very, very good now. I just got my pre-order box(es) from Gamestop yesterday, I will be sticking around for the expansion and probably quite a while after.
So, are you guys excited about making drudge characters with your bonus packs? I sure am.
