Starting Up Again

Hey to all those still playing Shadowbane,

I decided to start playing again (It has been a very long time). Can anyone suggest a good server? And if anyone knows of any good sites to read up on the game (other than the main UBI page) I'd be much obliged.

    Finally someone posts a post that means something here!  I agree, SB is so sad and out dated it's time to just wait till Guild Wars is released or buy it now and play the next beta weekend and start playing before it's release.

    Everyone that has pre ordered it can start playing April 27th, as where those that didn't have to wait till it's in the store.

    Just ignore the trolls.

    Shadowbane is a very fun pvp game, and is built around pvp. Try out the wrath server, it has more population than the DAoC mordred pvp server nightly (800+), and everyone on the server wants constant PvP. If you want to try the lore aspect of the game or role play, try out the mourning server. You can find great pvp on the mourning server too.

    There are a few other sites out there. I dont know them, I usually go with the flow and build my templates from scratch. If they are gimp, delete and reroll. Leveling is EAZY. Soon, with stat refinement, you wont have to even delete your char if you gimp yourself (aka - spike up DEX for a STR based sword.. which would gimp your damage).

    There are so many ways to spec a charactor. Just go with the flow.

    EDIT: Guild wars will have lag more than any game EVER seen. Why? Everyone and there mother will be playing it. Once that company starts running out of bandwidth......... lag will happen, and it will be HORRABLE. Only cash they get is from the sale of there game, and that cash will only last around 6 months of bandwidth, maybe less with the amount of people that are going to play it. Doesnt anyone rember how much lag battle.net had? You would think people would learn...

    Please, stop wasting your time, and our time, and get the fuck out of SB forums. You have already made your point with about 20 posts that say the same thing "SB is shit...bla bla bla...".

    I totally agree.  SB is the best PvP game out there.  Overall the game is junk though.
