One month later...421 replies and 14636 views....personal story is still broken.

in Guild Wars 2

Forging the pact is still not working even after new patch. And this is second time they patched it without any success. The worst part is that you can not get one POI in Fort Trinity because you get access to it only through personal story. So no POI mean no 100% world completion.

They should just give players option to skip this broken missions because it is clearly beyond their ability to fix it. Anyone else unfortunate enough to stuck here?

    I did that quest twice during the last week. so not as broken as people say.

    What does 'not as broken as people say ' even means? did i say it is broken for everyone? or you think that topic is imaginary and so are all the complaints?

    forging the  pact i completed yesterday

     

    i did read that  if the  person (i forget the name ) you need to protect dies and u need to res they wont follow u after a certain point

     

    as it also bugged for me   and after seeing  the  patch notes   i tried again

     

    and yesterday i got together with  one other who was doing the same quest and we completed it 

    plus i am  even sure that the  person we had to protect died as well

     

    but it completed

     

    i am wonderign if there is a problem with route in the cave or  maybe the questions  also  i noticed at the back of the cave there is a hole in the wall, so  maybe there is a mob in there but as the quest was still going  on i  just  was  in the flow  of  protecting i didnt try  but  when i saw  it  i  wondered  if thats why i didnt  complete it  before

    Did I deny it had problems no. How about you not post it as if everyone has problems there. Or do you think it is broken for everyone because it is broken for you. That's what not as broken as people say means.

    Did I deny it had problems no. How about you not post it as if everyone has problems there. Or do you think it is broken for everyone because it is broken for you. That's what not as broken as people say means.

     

    I am still waiting for you to show me where i said it is broken for everyone? when i link to the original topic on GW2 forums i think it is a common snese that not all the players in GW2 are affected by it.

    Or you just wanted to play white knight? and it is quite clear it is not just broken for me. Hence the link to the topic..which you purposely ignored.

    Did you try today?

    The patch notes are from the 25th and my client didn't downloaded any patch yesterday (the 24th) so I wonder if you might still had the same issues yesterday because of that?

    If you weren't yet in the game today, start the client and check if it patches, then retry your quest.

    Forging the past were one of the quest that are supposedly fixed now.

    Hope you can complete it now. :)

    Yep tried it again just 30 minutes back...no luck. Still bugs out at the second stage where you have tp escort the researchers. ;(

    Waiting for guildies to log on, gonna duo it and see if it works.
