Haters yet dominate

BjelarBjelar Member UncommonPosts: 398

I honestly believed GW2 would shift the balance. The level of devotedness have never been greater. But the sour haters always win.

A few weeks later, I get called a "fanboi" (yes, I am self-centered and narsesistic) for saying that GW2 is not all bad, even though I point out several flaws in the game, like the non-existing chat and the repetitive maps.

I will rejoin the anti-hater league, and by gully I am going to kick your arses in forum PvP. Neanderthals never succeeded in  linguistics :)

All you will get is sorrow. Anything you say will be reported as either trolling, baiting or topic hijacking. Enjoy your bans. :-(
  • BjelarBjelar Member UncommonPosts: 398

    I will not :)

I am very carefull never saying anything that sane people would ban me for.

20 years, zero bans. I am not pushing the limit. I fully expect to remain unbanned, thank you very much.

Well, apparently you aren't even allowed to respond to a post within a thread without it being considered topic hijacking and issued a warning...

    Just sayin...

Hardly a staggering insight when I could point at ANY mmo and say the same.

OH yeah man, I'm there with you.  It's depressing.   It's similar in a way, to the religious arguments which happen between Apple and Windows lovers/haters.  It's not enough for some people to simply make a choice -- they need to validate their choice by hating other others for chosing differently.  I guess it's a pretty ingrained in the human psyche.  I suppose you could also look at religion for a reasonably obvious example.

I think the mods are the same guys reffing the NFL games.

    It would explain a lot.

Could you please say that louder? I have no idea what you are talkinkg about.

Hardly anyone defends the freedom of speach this day, UN is embaressing itself as we speak. But MMORPG.COM has never banned me, even though I have moved in the vicinity of bans (controlled, without ever getting there)

I've had 8 temporary bans since '05 for this site alone simply from arguing (not flaming, proper analytical arguing) in threads, granted I used gratuitous amounts of profanity but every time I get the notice about the temporary ban I always chuckle and shake my head - they are quite strict here.

That said, no matter where you go you will always have to sift through hate posts/threads on forums.

Sometimes I think there are mods that are just too gung ho. No sense of humor. They go to bed each night holding a copy of the Rules of Conduct and, by golly, they will enforce it to the letter!!

I am afraid I without knowing anything about your case -take their words over yours.

There is no reason you should be banned from the internet, and if you are, I will lay down my life to defend you.

Oh please, welcome to the big leagues.  image

It's not hate, its just PVP, and we all enjoy partaking it to some extent.

But its an acquired taste and not to everyone's liking. image

Let haters say what they will. In the end, its the individual that chooses to take what trolls say seriously, and to be bothered by it. So, let them blow their abundance of hot air and sit back and enjoy your game.

It can get tiring if seen just from posts here and on other forums.  If it makes you feel any better very few players take the time to post in MMO forums to begin with.  If someone is happy with a product they are most likely using that product.  If they are unhappy then they need a place to "get it out".  Forums are that medium for MMOs.
