Help me find this song.

I can't find the name of this damn song and it wont get out of my damn head. I heard it on this oldschool R&b/funk station, it starts with a really sick guitar intro and then breaks into this slow/funky groove. In the background the guy is saying "ba ba bop" or some shit while he sings the lyrics.

 

The only lyric I can truly remember from the song is "I want to wait till I'm ready" or something and "I want to know I got to know", the song doesn't really have a true chorus so it's hard as shit to find it on google.

 

Anyone if you know the name of the song it would be a big help, I really want to learn that guitar intro.

 

It also has a guitar solo right after he sings his first verses.

Hey bud, I don't have any idea what the song is, to avoid this situation in the future, if you have an Iphone or an Android phone you can download an app called Shazam, it listens to a few seconds of a song and searches it through a database, unless you do have it but didn't have your phone at the time etc. then unlucky man. I've been in this situation a few times in the past and it can be really annoying.
