I remember playing the original Pirates! back on the good ole Commodore 64.. That game was great... I actually haven't had time to check out the remake... I think an online version would be pretty cool... but the whole sailing the open seas would probably get boring after a while.. especially since the world would have to be alot bigger than the original Pirates!
There is ]Pirates Of The Burning Sea which seems pretty similar.
Although there doesn't seem to be any dancing...
I remember that C64 game as well, great fun but not as fun as lode runner.

I may have to check out both of these games, looks like Pirates of the burning sea isn't out yet though.
