Ryzom vs Malu

Is it just me or the upcoming mmo "Origins of Malu" have alot in common with the old one "Saga of Ryzom"?

I mean, take a look at the races, the Jolah look very similar to the Zorai (to me), and both worlds have thriving nature. Even more, they are both defined as "sci-fi"/fantasy or some similar hybrid term.

And the atmosphere is quite similar, I think, but with glitter, more appropriate to a modern game, graphics.
