Did read about the alpha squad plan for 39.99 $, is this more a ripp off and you pay only to be a tester instead of getting payed for the work or do you obtain the full game aswell with the option to play after release ? I didnt see the info about it....

You get all the perks listed after release the game is also f2p so you do not have to buy it. But alpha squad does have some nice perks for those who want to support the game.
Also you get $40 in station cash too as a bonus.
"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience"

People are willing to pay for even less...
Shop cash, XP boost, unique camo set, decals and having witnessed how the devs respond to us players into making PS2 a game we wanna play, that's priceless.
Personally I'm on the fence about this decision myself, I have money issues right now (that $40 gets me a week's worth of food) and am about to move in a couple weeks, I have 600 SC points on my account already so I'm not sure how much resource pool boosts will cost and whatnot. The $40 worth of SC is tempting, but that's if I'll like the game for a long time like I did with Planetside 1, for now I'm not spending much time in PS2 beta at all.
40 lets you play the game now. You get 40 worth of sony money when the game launches.
Put it like this. If all closed betas were like this, they aren't. All developers should start to charge. Best 40 I've spent since the burning crusade.
Keep in mind that the current prices for items in the game would indicate that buying them with station cash is going to be expensive, so consider that 40 bucks worth to not be as much as you would think.
Especially when unlocks are per class and per character and not account wide.
"12 weapon unlocks (each class and Empire combination)"
The whole game is a sham what do you expect?
Everything you need to know about Elder Scrolls Online
Playing: GW2
Waiting on: TESO
Next Flop: Planetside 2
Best MMO of all time: Asheron's Call - The first company to recreate AC will be the next greatest MMO.
some people just wont understand when they read :P
3 empires, 4 classes. 1 weapon each.
3x4=12, math first grade i think *G*
those 40 bucks are surely worth the money ingame. you buy 40 station cash, so you actually get the game for free, PLUS the camo and some unlocks (on all your chars)
if you dont have a beta acc, i can only advice you to get alpha squad :P
"I'll never grow up, never grow up, never grow up! Not me!"
LOL, well one could read it like 12 unlocks PER class.
I already have beta, ever since the second or so day they launched beta.
Name reservations for AS buyers incoming.

Guaruntee that come launch day, your 4000 cash will be gone and you'll be in your wallet for more.. Game is Pay2Advance or facepalm in the ultimate game of boredom as you have just been stripped of all your powers.. You will feel useless in everything you do, and money will be the only cure.
After you are milked, you will soon realize, there is no backbone to this game, there is no point, and zerg warefare is all that it becomes.. a fish in the barrel shooter where you are so lagged out, it matters not if you are there.
The vehicle combat and all that.... is pointless
