After PS2 and other MMO's GW2 WvW and questing seems boring.

I know what you're thinking, how can you even compare them? A mmorpg Versus a MMOFPS? Ridiculous!

That doesn't change the fact that after playing PS2 for a mere 2 hours, i completely stopped enjoying GW2 WvW, It seems very pointless, goalless, and soulless.. Theres just.. Nothing to strive for, whatsoever.

 

While I've loved playing GW2, It just seems to be slowly dying out, it doesn't have any staying power, unless you really enjoy grinding your butt off to get that legendary - And yes yes, i can hear what you're saying "You don't play for the loot, or completion, you play for fun, why does no one ever "play for fun" anymore"

 

Well.. Guild wars 2 simply doesn't have that much Fun to offer, it quickly becomes repetitive.

Thats not to say i didn't get my moneys worth, I'd still advice everyone to pick up GW2 and play it, It's loads of fun in the beginning, especially with a good guild, and you'll easily get your moneys worth but...

Comparing it to other games, GW2 seems to fall flat on It's face in every aspect, dynamic events just seem.. Generic after a while, no different then questing, and i could say the same for every aspect of the game..

 

Wow.. I've been a downer, and I'm preparing for flaming.. But I'm pretty sure that in a few years, many of you people really Enjoying GW2 will feel the same, It's a good game, but won't last unless it undergoes some major patching/changing..

    PS2 feels like a zergfest with near zero consequences for losing or advantages for winning. I was shocked by how little I enjoyed it because of how much I was looking forward to it. 

     

    I would recommned playing it for more than 2 hours.

    I definitely will, i suppose WvW felt impressive at first as well.

    I'd like to add that It's mostly that theres absolutely no purpose to play WvW.. You don't get anything out of it, your server winning doesn't do a thing, and karma and gold is gotten a lot faster in other places.

    It was fun to do at first but just seems pointless now.

     

    I guess progression is a must for me while playing a MMO.
