I kinda have to admit I am a little confused as to how it worked. I mostly just ran (or pseudo flew, since I was an owl) around and pressing 1 and 2 at random, and I somehow became "King of the Costume Brawl".
Also does anyone know what you are supposed to do at Lion's Arch for that new Halloween event?
Patched the ~1gb, logged in for around 2hrs... logged out.
It's pretty much "done" afais, WvW is repetetive and boring (nowhere near DAoC RvR), sPVP you win by PVE and needles to say, PVE was done when i reached cursed shore, dragons are boring as hell, ex-dungeons are ... well you're average dungeons you farm for tokens that buys you "skins" that are ugly, over and out.
Waiting for next endeavours like Defiance, Star Citizen, Class4 etc.. dunno what i'll do in the mean time, maybe some more WarZ
For real though it was pretty annoying after a while....it was like the apeshitpalooza up in that place. I was starting to wonder if it was me or just everyone else who was on something.
Originally posted by cronius77 no offense to the fan boys and girls of this game but can you see why people give this game such a bad rep now after release? There is glaring issues with the game since release especially in world vs world and people spend dev time making stupid crap like this. I understand that different departments do different things but they could easily be focused on content updates and revamping the issues with world vs world instead of releasing stuff that majority of the players do not even like to begin with. I used to hate Rift and Trion big time to the point of bad mouthing them, same with funcom but honestly after keeping up with Guild Wars2 i have a new respect for both those studios actually wanting to fix their games based off player feedback and working with the community.
They have different teams working on different aspects of the game.
The fact that they have a team working on holiday content isn't an issue. The problem is that they aren't telling us how they plan to fix end game and when they hope to have fixes out.

I'll have to agree here as well. It would be better if they ran some holiday events that were more inline with the lore and the world.
Christmas in Aion was as immersion breaking as it could get. Though I did like the giant keyboard, got a group together to play songs with oO.
I think that the GW1 mad king events were more immersive. It felt less out of place then current GW2 halloween event. I think because current GW2 event looks a lot more traditional halloween with its fake plastic spiders and skeletons.
I do like the costume brawl chaos though. I just keep jumping into the cauldron untill I get one of the costumes with the better skillsets
