Man I so miss the good times I have had playing this game

I began at release and been off and on it for years...just seems like I cant get enough of it and when I do I want no more of it lol.  I love the games style and taste and the devs are great.  I just wish the game wasnt so greedy with xp-chains and had a more friendly bonded guild.  Also the graphics are the best thing to look at but the game play out ranks its graphics. 

As a last note, Im sad that AC had to have so many bots in its users.  They can be handy but that just brings me back up top with having very little user interaction if it isnt for money or xp.

    With the coming expansion, you should give AC another try. The expansion looks very promising, with a 'ok' graphics update (from what I've seen so far, which was over a month or two ago), a new enemy/playable race, the Viamont, a long with a new island, more quests, and so on, the expansion looks like it could be major, just look at the VN board thread best MMO ever, AC is winning, with 58%. Note: it's on the WOW boards.

    Wasn't the expansion supposed to improve PvP also? My bro and I have also played it off and on since its release, and always like to play it again. We will probably try it again when the expansion comes out... but when I read the article about the expansion last year, I thought I read something about an improved PvP system and it says nothing on their site... can anyone enlighten me? Thanks!

    I am pretty sure your talking about the new land control system. The land control system is not going to be in the actual expansion, yet will come out roughly a month or two after, according to the devs. Apparently, it's going to add a lot to PvP scene as well as the non-pvp scene. My guess is it's based around the war between the Viamont and Aluvian cultures, who have been at war for decades. The land control system, is something they wanted to get right, without bugs, or anything, that's why it's going out as a free download just after the expansion.

    As for the Land control system, they havn't realeased much info on it, they'll most likely fill us in just after the expansion ships, so they can adjust it to the player base's likes and dislikes.

    on PvE servers, will it still be PvP against the Viamontians or are they just the enemy you cant attack...?
