King of Kings 3 used to be one of the better Free to Play games out there, but after the last expansion it changed completely to Pay to Win. Everything is now geared to the cash player. There's no real pvp, it's all just 1 hit from these cash players who camp all the places people need to go to make gear or for questing. There's absolutely no competing with the cash players, although it is pretty funny to see these people paying hundreds of dollars on a "free" game! 

Another thing you must purchase skill books which become increasingly rare as you level up. Once you are past about level 100 skill books become almost impossible to find. Of course you can buy a universal book in the Cash Shop. Cash players can buy these "Uni's" & then resell them ingame at excorbitamt prices, which makes Gamego happy as either way they are getting the cash with or without the middle man.

This game is still fun at lower levels, but the higher you get, the more impossible it is to play without paying & it really just becomes frustrating. Paying a little won't get you much further either.
