no point in exploring

mmorpgs all have pretty much this in common. Secret areas to explore, or hidden places. WoW so far I dont think its possible. The dwarf airplane strip area kind of cool place to make you want to explore it, but wait its breaking a wow rule and get you warned. So is old ironforge. I dont see why they include hidden areas that are able to be explored but dont want you to. What is the harm of exploring the new area???? All the places to explore for fun with a few friends are all not allowed by them. I dont really know any secret places, but so far all the common ones that everyone knows about arent allowed to explore, pretty much gets rid of the find secret things in the game.

There is enough places hardly ever visited by anyone, so all your exploring desires can be satisfied.

You must be aware that the whole world is 'work in prgress' and you can't just go exploring there, just like going to construction site IRL and complaining the workers that they don't let you hanging there.

Old Ironforge is closed and you are not able to get there. Exploiting game mechanics does not equal exploring, get it through your head. You can't get there in a normal way - it doesn't exist to you, so there's no 'secret place' to explore, stop deraming about it.

Most MMO worlds are vast enough and complaining about not being allowed in 0.001% of places in the world seems silly. Especially when most of these palces are going to be open to public anyway when they are finished.

BTW, have you been in the dancing troll village in northern kalimdor?

I saw this area when I was flying over when I was going to Menthil from Ironforge. I just needed to get to this place because I saw that there was a birdman there. I took like 30mins out of my time and tried to find a way to get to this place, but absolutely no luck. what rule would you be breaking?

Wait a minute. Are you telling me there are areas that players can get to that are still "under construction"?

No, they can't unless they are exploiting. But a player who has no clue won't get there so someone can get suspended only if they want to.

yes and no. Yes, players have been known to wander in "under Construction" places they are not supposed to be and no, it is not easy to get there at all, sometimes you have to use "shortcuts" like dying in front of a closed door and ressing on the other side (as spirits can pass trough doors).
