Dont have the heart for Lotro after GW2 !!

hi....

After playing Guild Wars 2 since launch and moving towards my 4th lvl 80 char and after playing

Lord of the Rings Online since launch and filling all my char slots wiv top end chars i cant find

the stomach to buy Riders of Rohan...

I have gone bak on and found the combat slow and somewhat boring and i never enjoyed the 7 day CD on most

decent gaer i could make which i have always found a total wind up considering getting most skills in the first place in the

crafting guild were on a CD !!...

Can someone who has been in this situation plz reply on justifying this situation and tell me Lotro latest edition is worth it plz >

Check out EQII that's free to play and easy to get into and a fantasy game which has lots to offer the good old MMO'er.

Been playing GW2 since beta. Rift beta is open and i jumped in, played a bit, instant leveled to 50 and played for like 5 minutes and then logged out. Other mmorpgs sucks...can't play any other mmorpg than GW2, seriously.

One of the problems for me is having 40 skills and having to macro and shit, i hate it.

Edit: As he above me said, if you're going back to oldschool mmorpg combat try Everquest 2, it's different from WoW etc.

GW2 has had the opposite effect on me, though "fun" character progression is so severly lacking I just lost interest after two 80's.

Returning to Rift made me realize how much I enjoy A a persistant non instanced game world, B character progression C gear progression D the holy trinity and E the lack of "auto down leveling.

So ya all the inovations GW2 touted turned out to be deterants in the end.  Pluses for GW2 for me are beautiful gameworld, WvW sieging, but thats just not enough to keep me playing.

Feeling the same after playing SWTOR. I just can't make myself log in to LOTRO even though I am a Founder, have lifetime sub and I absolutely love Tolkien lore. It just feels so outdated, even though the environment is very pretty.

I just lost heart for it.

As someone who returned to LotrO with RoR after being dissapointed by the content for a couple of years I can tell you that Rohan is better than all previouse content including relase and Moria. Lots of great interesting quest lines, huge beautifull zones + mounted combat is awesome. It feels sluggish at first but when you begin to learn how it works and you level your war steed you will find how great it is.

Read the reviews on metacritic or check the forums if you still are unsure, most people seem very happy about it.

    If WoW = The Beatles
    and WAR = Led Zeppelin
    Then LotrO = Pink Floyd

Loved LOTRO. Hated all content since RoI.
