only £6 so snapped it up, been watching this game for sometime and want to try it out, shame they have not done the same in EU

    Playing: FFXIV
Future: wishing for SWG 2, World of Warcraft Classic
Played: Most current and extinct MMO's - 18 Years in....

    Interesting Fact - I own 27 Tarantula's

I did and I also plan on VIP when the game launches.

The game is quite confusing at first since its so different from everything else out there.

If in 1982 we played with the current mentality, we would have burned down all the pac man games since the red ghost was clearly OP. Instead we just got better at the game.

It's nice not being hand held and it actually feels fresh, once you get into it the game really has a lot to offer.

I tried it and I can't say it totally drew me in. It's definitely refreshing, but I'm not sure it's a 'good' refreshing. The game needs some ironing, that's for sure.

Where did you get the 3 month head start from? I've been looking for confirmation but can only find access to all beta's upon purchase. Could you confirm with a link? It would definately be a reason for me to buy. Really liking the beta so far.

as a very hardcore player of 9dragons I have been really looking forward to the release of age of wulin / wushu for a while now, I was pretty excited to get see the beta start and I got a key without paying to try the game fully planning to buy the vip / elite if I enjoyed the game but sadly I HATE IT..

There is so much cool concepts / ideas in the game however my number 1 factor for enjoying a game is a smooth reactive combat system and unfortunetly wushu rally really misses the mark on this aspect.  There combat is extremly clunky and slow usualy taking a while for each move to register as well as very clucky animations it just was not smooth at all.

For me the combat is a game breaker and I wont be playing the game unless the combat changes which is such a shame as I really love kung-fu themed games where you develope skills on an individual basis, I will be hopeful for patches but atm not buying or playing wushu

I would agree that combat could be improved.  I haven't had any issues in responsiveness and I feel the animations are very authentic.  Compared to most mmos I would say that AoW combat is on par, but compared to top games like GW2 or WoW the combat isn't as smooth.
