I decided to check the free to play out . I'm not overly bothered by the lack of the promised cartel coils because if I play it only be casually . Just thought it was funny that they sent out an email promising them only to find there were none .
Haven't logged in yet, so I can't confirm. I did, however, recieve one email letting me know how many coins I would get if I resubbed before the transition, and another (after I didn't) giving me 100 for "loyalty".
Which one are you referring to?
I want a mmorpg where people have gone through misery, have gone through school stuff and actually have had sex even. -sagil
Not to beat a dead horse, but it's just another case of EA releasing stuff without testing it.
There are a lot of problems with the code currently. People not getting coins, people not getting the promised amount, and even subscribers getting treated like "F2P" people .. ie restrictions.
Time-card users getting promised coins they will never receive is one example. Why don't time-card users get benefits? Because (1) EA doesn't get the full $30 per 2 months [retail cuts], and (2) Across all MMO's, it's more profitable to keep people on a credit card so either they forget they are subscribed, or they keep putting off their desire to unsubscibe.
But hey, I'm just a gamer, don't take my word for it.
