Surprised to see nothing about 'Cross Realm Zone' or something like it cause my guardian has not seen more than 2-3 people in a zone from 15-45. It is just dead zone after dead zone after dead zone.
And this is Maguuma which apparently is 'full'.
I'm glad I saw this post so I can call BS. I happen to play on maguma. The last week me and my gilfriend leeled from 1-40 and there were plenty of players at every level. We would run into them all over the place, mostly during dynamic events, and would often run with them to the next thing and invite them to our group. It has been enjoyable. That being said, I expect that as the game ages the lower level populations will dwindle significantly. A cross-server LFG system would help ease the game into its age.
There are other problems I've noticed so far. It is too linear for me, but my gf enjoys it. The only technical problem I have noticed is that NPCs are constantly spawning on top of us. I am not sure what the exact respawn time is, but they seem to respawn almost immediately after being killed so if you are in a team of 2 players killing 3 NPCs who are 2 levels above you they will respawn before you can pull and kill a second group of 3 NPCs. It is irritating and totally pointless to have respawn so fast. Plus a huge immersion killer- I am more of a fan of sandbox games myself so I cringe everytime ANYTHING appears out of thin air, especially mobs that I just killed a minute before.
No mention of housing or character redesign after leaving the character creation screen. No mention of an alternate way to handle item skins, like appearance tabs. No mention of adding in more emotes...this game is seriously lacking in that department! No mention of mounts, which would be fun.
Just throwing out some things that as an RP/social gamer I would like to see. None of those things would make me leet or awesome, but would add things for me to do and increase the enjoyment I am already experiencing with the game.
I would certainly like to see these things myself, especially player/guild housing. Crafting is fine and all I suppose, but I still need more to do outside of combat/the leveling process.
They made the game the way they said they would. They talked about other gear (basically Ascended items) before the release and said that those items were delayed. Did they bugger up how the items were released - HELL YEAH. It does sound like they will fix it, though.
At least A.Net admitted the mistake. The items are stahying in though because they were in the game all along at least partly.
I think many people who complain about games, incessantly like this, are looking at things through 'hype-filter' glasses. Meaning all they heard was the hype, from other players, not read what was actually said about the game, by the developers. There are some thing I wish were in the game currently, but they also said they could not have them in the game and balanced at release.
I think it would be nice for them to smooth out and slow down the character leveling system. It feels like you hit an oil patch around 40 and quickly slide straight to 80 in just a few days. In fact, you can level so quickly that you barely have time to experiment with your new skills and traits before you max out everything.
They have one of the largest teams in the industry, they have a team for each thing so one team can work on new content while the other works on bugs... give the bitching a rest, especially if you don't understand how GW2 and most games are handled.

Oh, so they're planning to make the game how it should've been on release?
Too late for that, damage has already been done.

I think the issue is there is no where else other than frostgorge to go at 80.
I know, its almost as if they needed...........................Wait for it......................................... a revamp??
See what I did there ?
