Soe was unable to deter the hackers in the least that infested the game toward the end of beta. I checked the top 100 list on my server(connery) and out of the top 100 players 1/3 are blatant hackers. Now before you sound off about get better bla bla bla. I only counted those that were obivious, by this I mean something in the range of 1600 kills 1 death(yes thats a real player). I hadn't really noticed anything much but it all hit me why when I realized I spent 90 percent of my time in a tank. Being in a tank most the time I never thought twice about hackers. While its not as bad as battlefield 3's mess of hackers it does seem they were never able to get a handle on the aimbot and pls don't argue 1600 and 1 could be legit...

Me v.s. 1000 players.. if only a handful of the top 100 are hackers... who cares...
I'm having fun. Hackers exist EVERYWHERE so acting surprised that it is true here seems silly.
1/3 of the top 100 are blatant hackers, thats me saying that anyone with anything within the realm of possibliity is legit. I basically didn't count another 20 to 30 players that had very questionable stats. 33 out of 100 is not a handful and if thats the trend for the game for legit to hackers then I don't imagine I'll mess with it much outside of tanking. If you are unaware SOE came out with a statement a month ago saying that they were aware of the aimbot that was everywhere and working on it, apparently they didn't win that war.
Its the whole reason I stopped playing Global Agenda, I more or less had the same ignorant attitude of Ikeda. It was only a few and I almost never ran across one. And then it was a few more, and a few more, and then it was lke 2-3 people per match on each team.
Got to the point it wasnt fun anymore, and I said "Fuck it" uninstalled and never played again.
When the only way you can have fun anymore and be compeditive is to cheat, it becomes a game not worth playing.

I watched a youtube video where a guy whacked about 20 tanks in a row, than shot down several galaxies(couldn't tell you if they where full from the videos) a couple of mosquitos and then proceed to blast a ton of very bad players. I'm needing a little more than they are blatant hackers because their numbers are good, and more of something with a little proof.
I'm not calling you a liar in any stretch, and hope you don't take it that way, but in every shooter I've played I've seen sick streaks. Planetside is alot easier to get a great kill streak than any shooter I've ever played(I sat on the side of a rock and shot people for about an hour without dying, not saying I'm good, I probably only shot about 30 people, but still I shouldn't have lasted as long as I did)
Someone in a Max rolled a ton of players for a good 40 minutes when I was playing beta(really good spot, damn corner and stupid terminal gave him an awesome door shot which seemed to really stump people, I wouldn't know, I was light so I just skipped him and went through the rest of the outpost)
Got anything solid? I've seen these threads in every game in the last year, but proofs always a bit lite.
Plus, what do you hope to accomplish here? SOE has been pretty fast to address serious issues on the site, why not post this there?
I thought they handled aimbot, is it still around?
Been playing beta for months, yet to see a single hacker. Most of those top 100 players are not hacking. The're farming an alt account in some far off obscure part of the map, using a sunderer to spawn/kill their alt over and over and over again.
Please do not post about things that you have very little or no understanding of, it hurts the game and makes you look foolish to boot.
i have only played PS2 for like 20 minutes and thats not enough time to spot hackers, but that was the reason i stopped playing Max Payne 3 on pc... full of hackers that never die and always one shot everything even fully armed.
ill keep playing PS2 here and there until i find game breaking hackers like MP3.

Another person posting about things they have no understanding of.
You can't buy upgrades, you can buy the guns, but they're all pretty much sidegrades. The upgrads you get from certs and there is no way to buy them snice that would literally remove any progression from the game.
SOE released a official statement about, their words, rampant aimbotting 1 month ago, go look it up. Second if 1600 kills and 1 death is them farming then you have to ask yourself is that not cheating? Yes in a pvp game with no way to grind like that unless you make alts to farm that is cheating as they now have leverage over most of the other players. You can argue all you want but I would ban every last one of those morons for ruining what the game is supposed to be. If you truly believe there are no hacks go searching for yourself, you'd be suprised whats for sale on the web
. Again exploiters are just as bad as aimbotters/wallers every last exploiter is the same trash to me.
