Top 10 MMOs of 2012 revisited

In 2009 Jon Wood (mmorpg.com staff) posted his prediction what games will be on top in 2012.

1. WoW

2. GW2

3. SWTOR

4. FF XIV

5. STO

6. APB

7. EVE

8. WoD

9. DC/Marvel/Champions

10. Aion

 

In your opionion what the list should really look like now at the end of 2012?

(please list only released MMOs)

 

IMO:

1. GW2

2. TERA

3. TSW

4. Rift

5. Aion

6. WoW

7. SWTOR

8. Lotro

9. EVE

10. FF XIV

Out of the list: STO, APB, WoD, DC/Marvel.., WoD (not released)

Your list is based on personal opinion, the original list was based on projections such as subscribers, profitibility, etc. 

"we decided to look for a Top 10 list that took many factors into account, with subscribers, profitability, critical acclaim and fan support topping the list."

 

That being the case, WoW should still be number one.

Well, of course it's only my personal opinion. I ask for yours too.

If you are talking population, Jon Wood's list is accurate except not including Rift in top 10. No game has approached WoW numbers for awhile. Wow continues to be the extremely heavy weight champion.. If you are talking personal preference I would list the games very differently.

Putting FFXIV in the top 10, based on the original version of course not the upcoming one, should be illegal.
