Question concerning graphics sliders...

in Darkfall: Unholy Wars
I'm sorry if this question has been asked before, but I've been looking around to see if one can reduce or enhance the graphic quality (shadows and such). If I am not mistaken, I remember some rumblings about the new version of the game locking those settings because people were just turning shadows off and such so hiding in the shadows was useless. Again, sorry if this question has been asked before.

    I've heard rumors that disabling shadows won't be allowed fully in UW. Maybe you can set them to ultra low? I know shadows affect FPS pretty drastically in most games so I hope we can adjust them to improve performance especially in sieges.

    Of course we won't know anything concrete until the game launches. No beta testers to tell us anything and AV is pretty close mouthed about fine details like this.
