I don't understand why this is so confusing to certain people...
It seems pretty simple to me: if I secure a name ingame with pre-order pack, not by hacking or any other similar methods, I should be able to get the name no matter what... NO MATTER WHAT!! I shouldn't have to explain myself to those who call me a theif and I certainly shouldn't just shut the hell up and walk away.
It's not about who should have the name, it's about who can and who just simply can not.
Imagine yourself "secured" a table that has a really nice view at a restaurant. When you're there with your date and they say, "Sir I'll have to ask you to sit at this other table right over... here... Yes! I can see that it's pretty close to the waste container, but you see... we have another costumer that's umm... let's just say he's a 'veterian' around here for years and he just LOVE that seat we promised to reserve for you and this lovely young lady... There's no need to... well, I'll come back whenever you're ready to get over yourself. (Simle)"

Exactly. Aventurine do special favors to some.
Was exactly the same in Darkfall1 when the mega large Zergs failed to conquer a town cause server went down.
Aventurine had informed their players that they would never interfer with the outcome of a server down.
So the mega Zerg complained and threatened to rage quit and Aventurine decided it was better to steal the city from the players with lower numbers and manually transfer it to the whining mega Zerg. Was coalition of the chilling and the city was were oldtimers started the game.
So it is nothing new that Aventurine cant be trusted.
Ive been reading that thread and i find it hard to believe that some of those people are adults. They tell everyone to man up, call people who don't like their game for the full loot gank feasts a carebears, laugh about someone getting trolled and "pwned". I have a hard time respecting people like that, im they wouldn't act like that around them in real life, heck, they probably look lhis (and lets be honest, most of them wouldn't even dare mess with someone like that for real):
