Just look at all the negative posts on this game and you will understand why I say this!
Can't waith for gw3, then I can say "THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL I WILL BUY IT!"!
If your still reading, my main problem with this game is the pathetic idea of limiting the lvl of the char to that of the area. It is fir and forever a team play game and if your living in a part of the world that has other players online at the same time as you, then you will not have a problem. I on the other hand am never able to find a group to join thus it is impossible to get the most out of this game! Solo play is limited to being killed, more being killed and of course, even more being killed. And this is by the normal monsters, there is no point in even thinking about attacking a boss of any description, as when you do, you realise that your weapons / skills do no damage and then your dead yet again!

Response to first paragraph in orange.
No, solo play is not limitied to being killed over and over again. Most people do just fine. This is not a common complaint of the game at all, so you are doing it wrong. Period. Try playing a warrior or guardian, since they are a pretty hardy. Perhaps that will help you if anything. Do not engage "champion" mobs alone. They are some what rare. Veterans you should be able to take out by yourself, although some can be tough enough to warrant a group. Standard mobs are nothing more than wheat to be cut down in the field. They die with ease or should.
If you find that your weapons and skills are doing no damage there is something you are doing drastically wrong. I know you must be past the starting zone, because at that early stage, mobs die like flies. It gets harder than that but gradually so, and not drastically so I can't imagine what your problem regarding difficult mob kills might be.
More than anything I feel you are greatly exaggerating the problem. If there's really a problem you are having at all. I can't be sure.
I was refering to the bosses not being something that you can solo!
There is not much point in killing the other stuff and no way to kill the good stuff!
You are definately having problems learning how to fight within the mechanics of the game, because it's really a long ways from impossible. I've played each class and they can all solo effectively.
EDIT: Bosses don't carry huge bonus loot either.

I get banned in the forums for games I love, so lets see if I do better in the forums for games I hate.
I enjoy the serenity of not caring what your opinion is.
I don't hate much, but I hate Apple© with a passion. If Steve Jobs was alive, I would punch him in the face.
I see that you're from Australia, if you're not playing on Sea of Sorrows (pretty sure that's oceanic / australian server)- you should have looked into servers before making statements like It is fir and forever a team play game and if your living in a part of the world that has other players online at the same time as you, then you will not have a problem. I on the other hand am never able to find a group to join thus it is impossible to get the most out of this game!
Does help to figure out who plays on what server...
Ok, so because the OP cannot play it very well, and dies to normal mobs all the time, the game is crap?
Is the OP even talking about the same GW2 as everyone else? most people complain that it is too easy, and too quick levelling wise.
A creative person is motivated by the desire to achieve, not the desire to beat others.
I guess there is not much point in killing them either then!
No, you might like WoW. I'm thinking that GW2 is probably to difficult of a game for you.

What do you mean by "bosses" ? There are Champions and Veterans. With Veterans they can or should be soloable most of the time. Champions are typically not soloable. Both could be classified as a "boss", since both types of mobs do in fact fill "boss" type roles in the game. You will find more veterans than you will champions and veterans are a good fight, but very soloable.
As for "not much point in killing the other stuff " I have no idea what you are talking about. I apologize. If you mean normal mobs, there's plenty of point in killing them. All the point in the world. So Im not sure.......anyways hope GW2 catches on for you. It's seriously not that hard. Just give it some time or maybe come back to it later.
I have 2 lvl 80 chars and working on the next one (shows, for now I like playing, but getting bored)!
My point is that, when you can not get in to a group, there is nothing else to do, because the game is too hard in areas to manage it solo!
Actually, your post history shows that you don't like playing. Either that or you just like complaining. So which is it?

I dont like being bored!
I already addressed this. If you're having problems finding people to group with, you can try to play on the server that matches up with the country in your profile. Easy fix, continue to complain though.
I think you should start off with realizing that being bored or unhappy is the fault of the individual, not the environment. It's the people that are having "entitlement issues" that seem to have the greatest problem understanding this.

Me thinks the lady does protest to much, 2 level 80 chars and you say your bored, well that would be perfectly normal claim in most MMOS, most people max one or 2 chars and MOVE ON, they dont complain numerous times about it.
But your post history has a long line of GW2 bashing, so why did you stay to lvl up 2 chars to 80, a wee bit narcissistic isnt it? Or is it something else, I really would like to know, why you didnt move on when from your very own posts you use words like "HATE" "CRAPWARE" and you use capitals to say it, disturbed yet, I would be.
Then I'm here to help.
Stop playing GW2 and do something else with your life. Something non boring.
There. Glad to be of help.
The feature of lvl scaling is one of the most amazing things about this game, do you not understand the idea behind such a concept??
With lvl scaling in a PvP enviroment you sweep aside the high lvl ganking the low lvl, in a PvE enviroment your able to keep ALL content relevant to that player, wether they are there to help out a friend, do some long forgotten quests, enjoy a new event, whatever it is the content is still relevant.
I would love to see lvl scaling tech brought into every future MMO, not just for dungeons but for open world exploration.
As for your constant dying, well if your having issues in such a simple game as GW2 I can't think of any game that is easier to play other than perhaps solitaire.
Levelscaling is the worst mechanic ever invented for a rpg.
It breaks immersion big time because the world is no longer coherent and makes every kind of progression (which is the base of rpg s) nonsensical.
Maybe if it was voluntary....
If in 1982 we played with the current mentality, we would have burned down all the pac man games since the red ghost was clearly OP. Instead we just got better at the game.
I dont like your insinuations about my personal mmo-style.
Maybe you should just try to understand what I wrote?
I know it can be difficult if it is not at the same level as you.
Lower or higher.
Funny, I think that is what I like best of GW2. No grey stuff in easy mode and I can always play with anyone without complicated sidekicking or whatever.
In a perfect world for me there would be no levels whatsoever which basically would mean the same thing even though people who played a lot would be somewhat more powerful than a downlevel 80 in the noob zones.
Making 90% of the gameworld grey to me after 2 weeks of playing just sucks to me.
You can't be serious? because if you are trying to make yourself look good you can not get any worse than this by making a statement like that.
Actually, I think that OP has some point, since some of the mobs, or mob packs in open world and story quests are a bit ridiculous. Especially if you're not very skilled and/or playing the wrong class.
Regarding downleveling, I like the idea and it's implementation, but sometimes can suck hard (see above), especially on story quests.
this ain't azeroth anymore, dorothy (and neither kansas).
if you are playing for fat loot, and are grinding and boss hunting for the "gain" throught the epix you wanna find... you maybe should check which gane you are actually playing
the items YOU are looking for are sold for karma at the "hearts" you see at the map, this karma is earned throught the completion of the same hearts (if you get close enough a "local" q will pop up telling you what to do)
also, you do not need to group ^^ if you see players around, just fight with them, dont wait till they killed the mob and try to do it yourself afterwards. there is NOTHING you can steal.
