Why did I bother coming back to this company

Saw the recent "newbie giveaway" from MMORPG so thaught would go back to conquer after 5 yrs away.

Excellent giveaway and was having fun on a CLASSIC server

They have removed a lot of stuff that used to be good, mining being the main, labyrinth diamond loots and other maps

On promotion for 110 i was able to choose CPs as a reward (CP is their item mall currency and ingame currency) to be informed that the CP is BOUND which means i cannot use them so wasted that reward.  Contacted support and reply was sorry cant use that on classic servers basically lazy devs not changing anything for classic servers have in effect scammed me out of equipment.

Then 2 major items from the newbie pack have now been removed after 3 weeks playing (tower and fan) because I suspect older players cannot get these.  Now in a way I can see why they have been removed but they gave new players a chance to catch up a little with exisiting players and there was NOTHING in the giveaway saying classic servers cannot use them. Plus I used my free upgrade stones on the tower and fans so I have lost those as well without compensation

The helpdesk has opening hours (great)  but when you try you are told no-one there to help please submit email

There is no moderating in game and the language is terrible with F this and that and racist rantings coming on main chat channel all the time (not a game for kiddies)

I have never seen as many BLATANT bots in any game before, teleporting, speeding and in packs of 3 or 4 and devs do nothing, maybe if gms actually came into game this would not be so bad but in 3 weeks I have never seen a gm nor seen anything in chat from a GM

This used to be a good game and a good entrance for new comers into MMOs but now I suggest everyone STAY CLEAR.

I agree, with everything you say. It's truly sad how Conquer Online developed in to what it is today. When i first found out about this game, (2004 i believe), It was the best game i've ever played. And stayed that way for about 2-3 years. Then they started adding way to much things. 

 

Now it's a pure p2w game, with no chance to even participate in battles without bulking up on gear. Rest In Peace, oh you wonderful game.

It still has serious customer service and technical issues. Played every version of it so far except this last one.
Great gear building, broken mechanics when it's played above the casual level.
