More newbie questions

Hi,

I have neen playing for about 3 days now and have been hearing that if you want to truly excel your points with SWG or JTL you want to take on missions with other players?.

Does that mean I have to join a guild or can I just invite somebody with the group button and then ungroup each other if we wish?.

Right now I am on the bria server and starstrider(I think thats what it is called).If I want to develop my character more what sever would me with people that haver alot of experence and friendly?.

Joining a guild (provided you put some work into it and research who is out there) will definitely improve your playing experience and help you to be more efficient. It's debatable whether soloing or grouping gains you more XP in the long run... but regardless, it may all change with the combat upgrade. Teamwork will most likely be the key.

I cannot stress enough to you how beneficial joining a guild can be for your SWG experience. And yes, you can create or join groups through the radial menu - just shout in spatial to advertise your intention/desires.

I'm on Starsider, and cannot recommend it enough. The Starsider forums are constantly receiving compliments about how the atmosphere feels much more friendly than other servers, and we have a very well developed roleplaying community (Starsider = the original unofficial RP server).
