Disappointed with steam sales

Anyone else kinda disappointed with the steam sales this xmas?  I am.  I have bought a handful of games this past year like skyrim, GTA4, fallout series, etc.  There is just nothing left that doesnt cost less than $20.  Im not interested in the COD stuff, farcry, or anything due to price.  I dont know, its just me.

    I picked up Witcher 2, XCOM, and Chivalry thanks to the sale. Been pretty decent for me.

    1. For god's sake mmo gamers, enough with the analogies. They're unnecessary and your comparisons are terrible, dissimilar, and illogical.

    2. To posters feeling the need to state how f2p really isn't f2p: Players understand the concept. You aren't privy to some secret the rest are missing. You're embarrassing yourself.

    3. Yes, Cpt. Obvious, we're not industry experts. Now run along and let the big people use the forums for their purpose.

    I was thinking of getting Anno 2070, but decided against it. There's still...10 more days until the sale ends I think? Maybe they'll put up some other stuff before then.

    RPG Maker also looks interesting, but is very expensive even with the sale going on.

    I got a great deal on Europa Universalis III Chronicles on Gamefly (75% off)

     

    Got Oblivion GOTY Deluxe for 5 dollars on a Steam trade, but dude originally bought it from Gamersgate...so it wasn't a sale from Steam.

     

    Bought a few games from GOG, and AMAZING deales from Amazon.

     

    Amazon, Gamefly, Gamersgate have the best Winter sales this year. In fact, many games at the default sale price are cheaper than on Steam...not true for 100%...but I said many...not all...

     

    Haven't got a single game off Steam from these sales. Just the three sites I listed.
