confused, why is this game even listed on mmorpg.com

im confused on why mmorpg.com even list this game? it does not even come close to what i think a mmorpg is, 50 man server which is really a fps with some rpg eliments, come on its not even close to a mmorpg.

hell why is bf3 not listed? that has 64 man servers with rpg eliments in kit un-locks??

probably cause Bf3 doesn't pay them for advertising and WarZ does

This site feels that since the definition for "MMO" is very vague they instead let their users and game publishers decide for themselves. And more so to the point - they are okay with adding games that "aren't" an MMO so long as it has MMO-like elements (lots of players + persistent worlds) and is currently in the media spotlight.

Last I heard (this was back when listing Diablo was under consideration) was that inclusion of fringe games on the site was based on the game being of interest to the MMORPG community in general.

 

As far as games not being listed, I would assume they've either never requested a listing or such was disapproved.  The instructions for listing are here.

100 man servers. Hell this has more right to be here than the 6 man lobby games you see on here.
