sharing bandwidth with the gf is becoming... annoying

Does anyone else share my plight? Of course my gf has no idea about lag or bandwidth or gaming in general. She doesn't understand that the fact I pay for the internet and she sucks up all my bandwidth when I play games doesn't seem to be a problem as long as she doesn't have problems.

Her idea of a problem is not being able to do anything on netflix (which is mostly due to their horrible servers). What she doesn't understand is the difference between 30ms lag and 300ms lag.

It is very annoying, since I pay the bill for her to be on the internet (on top of living in my house). Just thought I'd vent some girl issues here. It was so much easier living by myself.... not to mention cheaper.

Make sure all her bandwidth is a lower priority than yours. Then throttle her ass if necessary.
